The images in the show are color copies of collages made from color copies. Printed on 32 lb. 100% cotton paper, matted 9.75 x 7.75 in 14 x 11" frames.

The show is up through September 15, 2014. The Covello Center is open 10 - 5, Monday thru Saturday. Best way to get there is the #6 train to 110th and Lex, walk East to 2nd Ave  and 109th. It's between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

a slightly new direction

This week's collages were a different challenge to myself, first to use only black & white images. I chose greek roman sumerian etc. women-  objects of plunder from a book of objects from the British Museum).

And then making some pairings to change the content and context of history.
